Boston Bruins: 3 takeaways from victory over Vegas
By Sam Minton
The Boston Bruins got their 2nd win in two nights on Sunday as they rolled over the Vegas Golden Knights. It seems like the team is really starting to figure things out.
Every loss serves a purpose. It can show you things that you need to work on and can be a jumping off point for teams. The Boston Bruins loss on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks seems to have been a wake-up call for the team.
The Bruins have been playing great and have now won two games in two nights. Boston has struggled in back-to-backs before so this is definitely a great thing to see.
This season has been dominated by the Bruins first line. They make up a majority of the Bruins scoring output this season. This continued with David Pastrnak scoring his 16th goal of the season and Brad Marchand scored his 6th of the season.

Now even though the Bruins got some scoring support from their top line as they have this entire season, Boston got scoring from elsewhere.
Bruins fans also got some positive news about Tuukka Rask. Bruce Cassidy spoke to the media and said that Rask may play on Tuesday. There wasn’t a lot of details surrounding Rask’s leave of absence so it is a pleasant surprise to see Rask back so quickly.
Also, Cassidy announced that Kevan Miller should be returning by the end of their upcoming road trip. This is some good news for the Bruins who have lost a ton of defenseman due to injury.
So let’s look at my 3 takeaways from the Bruins great victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.
