The New England Patriots are on their way to Atlanta but not before pumping up fans at the send-off rally in Gillette Stadium.

Fans of the New England Patriots only have to wait 7 more days to watch their team in the Super Bowl.

On Sunday the Patriots had a send-off rally before the team left for Atlanta and Patriots nation didn’t disappoint.

More from Chowder and Champions

Over 35,000 fans packed into Gillette Stadium to cheer on the team. That is quite the crowd to just watch a bunch of people speak. Especially when you factor in that it wasn’t the warmest of days.

Fans did get a nice little treat though. If you were there early enough you got to be on the field. That is pretty cool.

There is definitely one speaker that energized the crowd, Tom Brady. It’s not that surprising considering Brady has been involved in so many of these rallies.

Brady pumped up the crowd with a “we’re still here” chant that could probably be heard from space.

I have goosebumps on my arm just seeing that.

That is a man who is determined to win a Super Bowl. Also what a mic drop moment. Scott Zolak has to make that catch, but not even that could kill the mood.

This seems to be the most energized we have seen Tom Brady in a long time. He really seems to be embracing this underdog role.

The Patriots are definitely not the underdog though. They have plenty of Super Bowl experience and are riding high off two emotion-filled wins.

Everything is trending towards this being a great Super Bowl for Brady and the Patriots. He could get his 6th Super Bowl ring and I wouldn’t even be surprised if he got his 5th Super Bowl MVP.

Last Super Bowl Brady threw for over 500 yards and 3 touchdowns. What is stopping him from having a similar game this year?
