3. Control Todd Gurley

The LA Rams most dangerous weapon on offense is Todd Gurley. If the running back is able to run over the Patriots defense it could be a long night.

More from Super Bowl LIII

Gurley was an absolute beast this season. This season was the best of his career. Gurley racked up 17 touchdowns and 1,251 rushing yards as well as 59 catches for 580 yards and 4 touchdowns.

The entire defense will have to deal with Gurley. The front 7 needs to make sure he isn’t able to break off long runs. It will be interesting to see who ends up covering Gurley when he goes out for a pass. That doesn’t sound like a fun challenge.

If Gurley has a big game it will spell trouble for Patriots fans. We have seen New England’s defense handle high powered offense’s before, but the Super Bowl is a completely different animal.

Todd Gurley could be a thorn in the sides of the New England Patriots defense.
