Boston Bruins: A healthy Anders Bjork can have a major impact
By Sam Minton
Anders Bjork needs to stay healthy if he wants to make it in the NHL. The Boston Bruins could definitely use his scoring ability next season.
When he is healthy, Anders Bjork looks like one of the best young stars on the Boston Bruins roster. The problem for him and the B’s is that he seems to always be getting hurt.
In his first two NHL seasons, Bjork has only played 50 games, and it appears that his durability isn’t improving. In his 2nd season, Bjork only played in 20 games.

But Bjork has shown some skill when he is on the ice. He looks to be a great goal scorer and someone who just knows how to make plays.
Last season Bjork even got some time with the Bruins top lines. That is quite the honor for the young winger. If Bjork is able to stay healthy I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the first line this season.
The Bruins have to even out their lines. Last season we saw how top-heavy the team was. Thankfully in the playoffs the Bruins got some much-needed depth scoring.
Still Boston needs to make sure that all 4 lines are capable of causing chaos and that’s why they should break up the first line. Danton Heinen is another option, but his style of play might be better suited for a bottom 6 role.
Bjork knows how to make plays. If he was working alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand he could have quite the season.
This is all dependent on him staying healthy. If Anders Bjork manages to get hurt again it might be the end of his time in Boston. There’s nothing you can do if Bjork is always getting hurt.
But if Bjork can stay healthy I think he could have a major impact on the Boston Bruins this season.
