Boston Celtics Rumors: The one team Chris Paul can’t go to
By Sam Minton
Chris Paul isn’t coming to the Boston Celtics, but the team definitely cares about where he ends up.
Things aren’t going well for Chris Paul. He was just sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder and now it looks like he is headed somewhere else. Thankfully for Boston Celtics fans they don’t have to worry about having another locker room disruption.
Paul definitely won’t be joining the Celtics, but there is a chance he ends up in the Eastern Conference. There is definitely one team that C’s fans don’t want Paul on.

Right now the Milwaukee Bucks are the kings of the Eastern Conference. As long as they have Giannis Antetokounmpo that will be the case.
The Bucks failed to reach the NBA finals, but seem to be rather close to competing for an NBA title. Chris Paul could get them over the hump.
Paul would be a veteran presence who is one of the best point guards in NBA history. For a 33-year-old he is still putting up some solid numbers. Last season Paul averaged 15.6 points and 8.2 assists per game.
The Bucks also lost a large part of their starting five in Malcolm Brogden this season. Having Paul would fill what looks to be a massive hole in your starting lineup.
Even though the Celtics have taken a step back I think that they can compete in the East. Guys like Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum should have improved seasons. With the departure of Kawhi Leonard, Boston could make it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
If Paul was to join the Bucks it would make life a lot more difficult for the Celtics. Their chances of going deep in the playoffs would take quite the hit.
So it may not seem important, but where Paul ends up could have an impact on the Boston Celtics this upcoming season.
