New England Patriots: Julian Edelman stirs up controversy
By Sam Minton
Julian Edelman released a new t-shirt and I bet New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick won’t be pleased when he sees it.
The New England Patriots are known for having tight lips and barely saying anything to the media. That is why I think the organization won’t be too pleased with Julian Edelman.
Edelman has his own brand and even his own store in Boston. Periodically the receiver will drop new t-shirts and and other items.

Well that time has come again. Before the preseason Edelman has released a new batch of items that will surely anger the brass in Foxboro.
Now I am sure that New England doesn’t care that he has his own brand, but they do care when Edelman possibly reveals secrets about the team.
Now these items do look pretty cool. I might even get one myself.
But one shirt has drawn the attention of Patriots fans because it features two names whose statuses in New England are up in the air, Rob Gronkowski and Josh Gordon.

As you see it appears that Julian Edelman may have some insider information. The shirt makes it seem like there is no question that Josh Gordon is returning to the team this season.
Edelman easily could have put a question mark next to his name. That is exactly what he did for Gronk.
Now I’m sure that the addition of Rob Gronkowski’s name will anger the organization and definitely Bill Belichick. Belichick wants his team focused on the road ahead and doesn’t want them answering questions about whether or not they think Gronkowski will come back.
The preseason has barely even started and it seems like Belichick is sick of answering questions about Gronkowski. This gives beat writers just another opportunity to ask Belichick if there is a possibility that Gronkowski comes back this season.
So it looks like Julian Edelman may have put himself in Bill Belichick’s dog house for a while. Hopefully Tom Brady can help get him out.
