Even though he hasn’t played a ton of games, Tacko Fall is 6th in frontcourt All-Star voting. Boston Celtics fans should make sure that he gets in.

In a rather short period of time, Tacko Fall has become one of the most beloved players on the Boston Celtics. It looks like that love extends past the borders of Massachusetts.

On Thursday the NBA released the first wave of All-Star fan voting results and they were definitely surprising. Of course, you had guys like LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way but what might be most surprising is further down the list.

Somehow Tacko Fall is 6th in All-Star votes for the Eastern Conference frontcourt. Fall is ahead of guys like Gordon Hayward and Andre Drummond. Jayson Tatum is right ahead of Fall in 5th place.

Now some people are saying that this is a bad look for the NBA. How could a guy who has only played 3 games and is averaging 4.3 points a game be an All-Star?

Well, I would say that Fall’s per 36 stats are pretty impressive. He is averaging over 40 points, 20 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Those seem like All-Star worthy numbers.

Also, this shows just how much of a star Fall is. He is bigger than just a basketball player (both literally and figuratively). His personality and skills have made him an immediate star.

If Fall gets the votes he should play in the game. The fans are the ones voting so make the fans happy. They are the ones who spend their hard-earned money to attend events like the All-Star game.

Fall isn’t just a gimmick, he has a ton of raw potential. Standing at 7’5″ he could be the big man that the Celtics need. Fall could be a star.
