Boston has always been a top sports town in the world, but none of that is possible without the support of its fans. The Boston Celtics need them.

When you think of Boston sports, you think of the culture, the fans, and the historic moments late in games. There isn’t another string of sports teams in a city that is more affected and motivated by its fans. As a result of the coronavirus outbreak. Whether it be the rebuild offseason when Danny Ainge let go of rusty old Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, or the shocking trade of Isaiah Thomas, there are constant newcomers in Boston. Ainge loves to keep things interesting

But, there is one thing that has been consistent from season to season, the fans. Nothing in this world is as energetic, rowdy, horrifyingly dangerous, and as proud as the Boston fanbase.

Simple layups in Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Finals makes the crowd heard all the way in sunny Los Angeles. You look back at the playoff performance in 2018, with the launch of Jayson Tatum, and the crowd favorite Scary Terry, they won one road game.

How about the heroics of Isaiah Thomas during the emotional series against the Washington Wizards. After the loss of Isaiah’s sister, Chyna Thomas, the city of Boston supported the five foot nine phenom, motivating him to keep competing and eventually win the series in seven games.

Without the Boston fans, I don’t care how good the team is; the Boston Celtics will not be successful. Which is why, because of the circumstances and possible banning of spectators, 2020 isn’t the year for the Celtics.
