Despite the elimination of fans, the Boston Bruins will find a way to make up for last year’s loss in Game 7 and capture a Stanley Cup title.

The TD Garden is a special place for Boston Bruins fans. It’s an electrified stadium filled with memories that last a lifetime. Many of those jawdropping moments that are pinned into the memory cards of Boston souls happen during playoff time.

More from Chowder and Champions

There are two types of Bruins fans, year-round die-hard hockey obsessors, and New Englanders who hop on the bandwagon come April. The combination of fulfilled Boston Bruin geniuses and unforgettable Bostonians filled with pregame chowder brings life to the garden; But, due to a global pandemic, the B’s will be without the lively home crowd this postseason.

The first place Bruins will miss the advantage of four games each series with heckling fans but a veteran filled Bruins roster could put the squad over the edge in the adjusted playoff format.

With Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Zdeno Chara, and Tuukka Rask holding down the B’s, the experience of the Bruins core four will be a huge difference-maker during these unusual and challenging times.

The best part of playoff hockey, hands down, is the buzzing horn after a Bergeron slap shot followed by the Boston crowd humming ritual, “OH OH OH OH OH.”

But, if the Bruins are able to imagine the chaotic Boston crowd behind them at all times, a revenge Stanley Cup title between the defending champion St. Louis Blues and Bruins could be in store. After last year’s Stanley Cup final, both the Bruins and Blues put together incredible campaigns, finding themselves atop the leaderboards before the pandemic took the world by storm.
