David Pastrnak has had a great season for the Boston Bruins and it looks like he will be ready to hit the ground running when play resumes.

This season, David Pastrnak has far and away been the best player for the Boston Bruins. It looks like we will get more of the same when the NHL starts up again.

We haven’t heard a lot from Pasta since play stopped. We actually haven’t heard from him at all besides his Fortnite streams on Twitch.

So what has Pastrnak been up to during the layoff? We finally got to find out on Monday.

Pastrnak has been in Prague quarantining and he has no idea when he will be able to come back. He is hoping to get back before phase 3 and that is definitely a good goal.

Before official team practices start it would be good for Pasta to get back to work with his linemates. Also, I can only imagine how much Brad Marchand and Pasta miss each other.

But Pastrnak being in Prague has allowed for him to stay sharp. He said that he has been skating with multiple NHL players for weeks now.

This definitely makes Bruins fans feel a lot better. With such a long layoff there can be a lot of rust to knock off but it seems that Pasta has been able to keep practicing. Of course, nothing will be like playing in a game, but at least it shouldn’t take him too long to get his legs under him.

Hopefully, we will see more great goals from Pasta in the playoffs. He finished this season with 48 goals and 47 assists. He was on an absolute tear.

With a lot of veteran players, it’s fair to say that young guys like Pastrnak and Jake DeBrusk will need to step up.

It looks like Pastrnak will also have a little extra motivation headed into the playoffs. Of course like everyone he wants to avenge that Game 7 loss, but Pastrnak is also upset he wasn’t able to reach 100 points. Hopefully, that anger will lead to plenty of goals.

Next. Please appreciate Charlie McAvoy. dark

There is no doubt when NHL games return, Pastrnak will be ready to play and put on a show.
