There were rumors that Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum would possibly sit out but he has actually been a driving force in getting the NBA to return.

The Boston Celtics are preparing to commit their future to Jayson Tatum. It would be stupid of them not to. Tatum is a star and he will be for years to come.

But C’s fans were starting to worry. Rumors arose that Tatum might not want to play since he is dues for a major deal. Those rumors were quickly dismissed.

This caused some people to worry about committing to Tatum. Why would you make a guy the face of your franchise if he was more worried about making money instead of helping his team?

Celtics fans got more confirmation that Tatum is the right guy for the team. He was actually the driving force in trying to get the league back.

Adam Silver and many important members of the NBA family spoke with the media detailing the NBA’s return to play plan.

Besides talking about the bubble and how they reached the conclusion to finish the season, Tatum and Jaylen Brown were commended for their effort in getting basketball back.

That is exactly what you want to see from your two young stars.

Celtics fans knew how well respected Brown was around the league, but it appears that Tatum’s rank is improving as well.

Tatum has quickly become one of the NBA’s biggest stars. Of course, you have guys like LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo but Tatum isn’t far behind. One day he could be the face of the NBA (especially if he wins some titles).

It will be hard but I hope Tatum stays a Celtic for his entire career. He just seems like a player you can build around and hopefully win some titles with.

Next. Bill Russell still proving his greatness after all these years. dark

But this latest news shows how he is a leader both on and off the court.
