The Boston Celtics went down 3-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals and here’s what C’s twitter had to say about the loss.

It wasn’t a fun night to be a Boston Celtics fan. The C’s are now down three games to one to the Miami Heat and are on the brink of elimination after losing 112-109.

Wednesday was a rough night all around. Boston just didn’t have what it took to win.

More from Chowder and Champions

One of the players who had the worst night for the Celtics was Jayson Tatum. He went scoreless in the first half. Tatum would end the night with 28 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

Fans can only imagine what would have happened if Tatum had even a mediocre first half. It’s likely that the Celtics would have even the series at two games and controlled the momentum.

At the end of the day, Boston gave the game to Miami. When you have close to ten turnovers in the first quarter alone it is hard to win games.

Now Miami is in the driver’s seat. All they have to do is win one more game and they will be headed to the NBA Finals. Who would’ve thought we would be saying that at the beginning of the season.

Boston on the other hand has all the pressure. They are the team that was supposed to win this matchup. With the Bucks and Raptors out of the way, there are no excuses for the Celtics. Even down 3-1, everyone knows Boston is the more talented team.

Jaylen Brown and Tatum are some of the best young players in the NBA. Tatum has true superstar potential. Celtics fans saw a glimpse of that on Wednesday night but it was too little too late.

As one could expect, Celtics Twitter wasn’t taking the loss too well. Here’s a glimpse at what it looked like.

If Boston is going to win three straight games, they can’t take their foot off the pedal. They need to play a complete game and get quality performances from Tatum, Brown, Kemba Walker, and Gordon Hayward. If they don’t, Boston will be headed home.

Game 5 is on Friday. Hopefully, that isn’t the last Boston Celtics game we watch this season.
