Boston Celtics: Skip Bayless isn’t qualified to talk basketball anymore

Skip Bayless believes that the Philadelphia 76ers will win the Eastern Conference. Why do you hate the Boston Celtics so much Skip?

Fox Sports 1 analyst Skip Bayless is known for saying that Tim Tebow would be better than Tom Brady. The man is a hot take machine. In his latest fiery take, Bayless believes that the Boston Celtics are not as talented as the Philadelphia 76ers (Inserts palm into face).

Skip how can you say this. The Boston Celtics defeated the Philadelphia 76ers without their two best players. With Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving returning this season, the 76ers have no chance. Listening to Skip’s explanation may cause Celtics fans blood to boil.

First off I don’t doubt Brad Stevens coaching abilities at all. He has proven that he can handle ego’s and knows the best way to use his players. Seeing that the Celtics have basically the same roster as they did last season I don’t think there will be a big change.

Gordon Hayward will obviously have a much larger role, but Stevens will make sure that everyone gets their minutes.

Now Skip also claims that the 76ers have two better players than anybody on the Celtics roster. Once again Skip is insane.

Jayson Tatum and Kyrie Irving are much better than any two players on Philly. So is Hayward and Irving.

Joel Embiid is a top player in the league. I respect his skill and his humor, but Ben Simmons isn’t anything to be excited about. The man literally can’t shoot a three-pointer. You can’t be a star in today’s NBA without having some sort of skill from behind the arc.

The Celtics will be just fine

Skip’s nonsense may have some Celtics fans worrying, Don’t. The Celtics will without a doubt be the top team in the Eastern Conference.

Hayward and Irving will be one of the most dangerous duos in the NBA. I can’t wait to see what they can do after our dreams were shattered when Hayward was injured on opening night.

Also I’m excited to see how Jayson Tatum has improved over the break. He has worked out with Kobe Bryant and is looking to come back better than ever. After an impressive rookie season, Celtics fans will be anxiously waiting to see if Tatum can take the next step.

So don’t worry about what Skip Bayless thinks. The Celtics will be alright.
