Boston Celtics rumors: Anthony Davis’ father against move to Boston

Anthony Davis’ father let the world know that he doesn’t want his son to play for the Boston Celtics.
Another day, another layer to the twist and turning saga that is the Anthony Davis trade rumors. It seems like the Boston Celtics will have a lot of convincing to do.
Anthony Davis Sr. spoke to ESPN and said that after the Isaiah Thomas trade the Boston Celtics showed that they have no loyalty.
Does Anthony Davis Sr. not know who his son is? Anthony Davis is in a whole other galaxy compared to Isaiah Thomas.

Thomas had one amazing season where he captivated all of Boston. He was absolutely clutch, but Boston Celtics fans wondered if this could last.
Anthony Davis is a much better player. In his 7 year career, he is averaging 24 points and 10.6 rebounds a game.
Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge did his job and made Boston a better team by acquiring Kyrie Irving. He sold Isaiah Thomas when he was at his highest value. It was highly unlikely that Thomas could sustain that success. Any smart GM would have made that trade.
Anthony Davis will continue to play well. He is a top 5 player in the NBA today. I don’t think the Boston Celtics will trade such an amazing talent Mr. Davis.
The comment from Anthony Davis’ dad definitely isn’t changing the Celtics plans.
If Anthony Davis was to join the Celtics it would be an absolute game changer. Boston would have the abilities to dethrone the Golden State Warriors.
Imagine Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving playing together? They would absolutely dominate.
Still, we won’t know if Davis is going to be on the roster until the offseason. The Celtics need to focus on winning and proving that Boston is a destination for Davis if he wants to win a championship.
