After two brutal losses in a row, Marcus Morris ripped into the Boston Celtics. Things in Boston aren’t looking so good.

This season has not been the one that Boston Celtics fans expected. A season that was supposed to be full of victories has been full of disappointing losses and one C’s player is fed up.

The Boston Celtics lost their 2nd straight game on Saturday night. Now I am not going to overreact over a simple loss in February, but this is no simple loss. Boston blew a 28 point lead. How is that even possible?

Everyone expected Boston to dominate the Eastern Conference. They were supposed to be unstoppable. Now they look like the Boston Celtics of the early 2000s. The C’s got booed out of the arena on Saturday night.

More from Chowder and Champions

There is one guy on this team who isn’t afraid to let his opinion known. Marcus Morris is having an amazing season for the Celtics and is frustrated with his team.

"“I mean for me, it’s not really about the loss, but the attitudes that we’re playing with,” Morris told reporters after the game. “Guys are hanging their heads … it’s not fun. We’re not competing at a high level. Even though we’re winning, it’s not fun. I don’t see the joy in the game. … When I look at us, I see a bunch of individuals.”"

I get what Morris is saying. There was one lingering question before the season. Would all the talent on this team work well together? So far it is a work in progress.

Especially early on in the season, we saw multiple players struggle. Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown were focused too much on getting shots up instead of distributing the ball. Both of these guys are playing better, but can they play an unselfish game for the rest of the season?

Overall this season has been a disappointment for Gordon Hayward. He is only averaging 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

When Boston acquired Hayward he was supposed to be a key piece in the Celtics starting lineup. Now he is struggling to be one of the better players on Boston’s 2nd unit.

If Boston wants to go far in the playoffs they need to figure things out. They need to play team basketball. We need to see the patented Brad Stevens ball movement that made us think he was the greatest coach in the NBA today.

dark. Next. Marcus Smart a 3 point phenom

When the Boston Celtics finally figure things out I bet Marcus Morris will be having a lot more fun.
