It was a hard fought game that looks like it will be a primer for the Eastern Conference Final. Credit to Tampa, because it was a playoff atmosphere down in Florida (even though there were plenty of Tuuuuukkkk chants).

The Boston Bruins ended up leaving Amalie Arena victorious and showed why they are the top team in the East.

They showed off their depth with Jake DeBrusk finally scoring after a rather long drought. Also, Tuukka Rask had an impressive game with 20 saves.

What also stood out was the physicality of the Bruins (and the Lightning as well). They weren’t afraid to get in the dirty areas and show Tampa who’s boss. You even saw Joakim Nordstrom drop the gloves.

On Tuesday night you saw that the Boston Bruins can stop Tampa’s offensive weapons. You even saw Nikita Kucherov slamming his stick in disgust and anger. If they are able to continue to do that there is no stopping them and Boston will be well on their way to the Stanley Cup Finals.
