New England Patriots: If there is justice Josh Gordon will play next season
By Sam Minton
With the NFL’s failure to handle the domestic violence issue that resides in the league it is silly that New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon is still suspended.
Two wrongs do not make a right, but in most of the United States there is nothing wrong with what Josh Gordon did. After the whirlwind of news that came out about Tyreek Hill, it is insane that New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon is still suspended.
The things that Tyreek Hill “allegedly” did to his fiancee and child were truly terrible. Someone like that can not play in the NFL and probably never will ever again.

But it makes no sense that Josh Gordon is suspended for smoking marijuana when in Massachusetts and half of the United States some form of legalized marijuana use.
Gordon is currently suspended indefinitely for his actions, but if he does play in 2019 it will be for the New England Patriots.
The team signed him to a restricted tender meaning he will most likely stay with the team this season.
When he is on the field Gordon is amazing. He is an absolute game changer. We saw what Tom Brady could do with him in just a short period of time.
Last season in just 11 games he had 40 catches for 720 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Just imagining N’Keal Harry and Josh Gordon on the field is bringing a smile to Tom Brady’s face. What seemed like a lost offense now has some promise. These guys could cause problems for opposing defenses across the NFL.
So hopefully we will see Josh Gordon on the football field soon enough. If he isn’t it truly is a shame that he doesn’t get to do his job over something so harmless, especially in comparison to what else is going on in the NFL.
