New England Patriots: Tom Brady has faith in o-line
By Sam Minton
The New England Patriots offensive line is a disaster but Tom Brady has faith that the big guys will pull it together.
Week 5 was a fun game for the New England Patriots for a litany of reasons. One of those wasn’t the offensive line. Even against the abysmal Washington Redskins they struggled.
All-day Tom Brady was facing pressure. He had to break the pocket and use his feet a lot to try and avoid being sacked. Brady was hit 9 times and sacked 4 times.

Especially at Brady’s age, this is not what you want to see. It’s insane that he is still able to move like he does but he could begin to wear down if he keeps getting hit like this.
It seemed like the New England Patriots were poised to have a solid offensive line. Isaiah Wynn was finally going to play and David Andrews has solidified himself as one of the best centers in the NFL. Both of these guys are out for the season.
Even with all of the struggles that New England has had, Tom Brady has faith that his offensive line will figure things out. He posted on his Instagram story a picture captioned “calm down everyone the o-lines got this…”
Now I appreciate Brady’s confidence in his teammates but I am not so sure they will be able to get it together. The Redskins defense isn’t made up of great players. The fact that New England’s offensive line struggled to protect Tom Brady shows how bad they are.
If the Patriots want to be succesful they need to keep Tom Brady upright. With receivers getting hurt left and right he needs time to throw.
So hopefully Tom Brady’s faith isn’t misplaced and the New England Patriots offensive line will find success sooner rather than later.
