The Boston Celtics released their return to play schedule and they have a great opportunity to jump up to the No.2 seed.

NBA fans finally got some hope. Teams released their return to play schedules and Boston Celtics fans should be excited.

The C’s have a great opportunity to jump up into the No. 2 seed. The teams they end the season with should be a cakewalk. Compared to other teams the Celtics got off easy.

More from Chowder and Champions

Boston should be favorites heading into the playoffs. With young stars such as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum they shouldn’t have to worry about there being too much rust.

You also have players such as Marcus Smart, Robert Williams, Daniel Theis, and many others who will solidify the bench. We could even see guys like Tacko Fall and Tremont Waters getting some playing time with the expanded rosters.

Also, the timing of games will make C’s fans happy. There’s no more having to stay up late. The Celtics only have 2 games at 9 PM. The rest are at 3:30, 5, and 6:30 PM. Middle of the day basketball will be a treat in the summer.

So without further ado let’s get to predicting how the c’s will finish the regular season.

July 31st Celtics at Bucks 6:30 PM

This will be Boston’s toughest matchup. The Bucks have always been a thorn in the side of the C’s.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will be a force and there likely won’t be any rust. He will continue to lead the Bucks as he always has.

This will likely be a game for the Celtics where they work off the cobwebs. It will be interesting to see how Gordon Hayward and Kemba Walker do in the first game back. After not playing for so long it is likely that Brad Stevens manages their minutes.

The Bucks are the No.1 seed for a reason and they will take this game. Boston opens up their time in Disney with a loss.

0-1. . . . BOSTON CELTICS

After such a long layoff it is likely that the better team wins. It’s hard to go against the Bucks in this one.
