Boston Bruins: Patrice Bergeron’s 1000th game was a masterpiece

Patrice Bergeron played in his 100th game for the Boston Bruins and it will definitely be a night he won’t forget.

You may have forgotten with all the festivities for the New England Patriots on Tuesday, but the Boston Bruins had a game to play and it was a special one.

Patrice Bergeron is a Boston Bruins legend and he has reached another milestone in his already amazing career. Bergeron played in his 1000th NHL game.

Playing 1000 games in the NHL is impressive. It shows that a player has managed to stay healthy and has been a quality player from the start of their career. Bergeron’s 1000th game is even more impressive because he has played all of them for the Boston Bruins.

Tuesday’s game was a great one for Bergeron. He kicked off the game with a goal and ended the game with a goal.

This season has been another great one for Bergy. He has 18 goals and 28 assists.

There were also some moments from the game that showed how much Bergeron is respected by his teammates. Brad Marchand made sure to secure the puck from Bergeron’s 1st goal while Bergy celebrated. Then with an empty net David Pastrnak had a breakaway, but he dropped the puck and let Bergeron score the goal.

Bergeron is one of the leaders in the locker room. When he is out of the lineup you notice his absence immediately.

The final moment from the game brought a tear to Boston Bruins fans eyes. Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron were the last two guys on the ice and the captain gave Bergy a bearhug and lifted him off the ice. The only way to describe it is that it was adorable.

Patrice Bergeron is a Boston Bruins legend and will have his number retired when he sadly decides to end his career.
