New England Patriots: Tom Brady isn’t begging for Rob Gronkowski
By Sam Minton
Even though the New England Patriots could use the help, Tom Brady won’t be asking Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement.
We are used to the New England Patriots being the driving force of the team. Tom Brady and whoever was with him would be putting up points and no one could stop them.
This season has been quite the offense. The Patriots might be 6-0 but they have some problems. One of the bigger ones being the offense.

The Patriots are running out of wide receivers due to injuries. Phillip Dorsett was already hurt and Josh Gordon also picked up an injury.
Also, we already know how poor the tight ends have been. We knew life without Rob Gronkowski was going to be bad. There is no way to replace such an amazing player as Gronk, but things have been rough.
New England isn’t just missing Gronkowski in the passing game. They are also missing him in the running game.
Gronkowski was an amazing blocker and Matt LaCosse and Ryan Izzo have some work to do. It is no coincidence that Sony Michel has had a rough start to the season.
One would think that Tom Brady would be begging Rob Gronkowski to come back but that isn’t the case. Brady is letting Gronkowski enjoy life after football.
"“Look, I love that guy. I am so happy that he’s enjoying his time. I am happy that he’s enjoying his life.” Brady said. “He seems to really be doing a lot of great things. He knows how I feel about him. I want what is best for him. He’s the only person that can make those decisions. I don’t lobby for those things."
Now I don’t think that Brady would publicly ask Gronkowski to come back, but I believe what he said. He sees that Gronkowski is finding new opportunities and is happy again. After he left the game Gronkowski spoke about how difficult life was in his final season.
So Tom Brady is respecting Rob Gronkowski and won’t be asking him to return which is the right move. No matter what the team will still be headed to the Super Bowl and will probably win their 7th Lombardi Trophy.
